1-to-1 COACHING

RTG is a targeted self-coaching tool, but what if you want some face time with an expert coach?

We strongly believe in the power of RTG as an online resource. It’s already been proven to work for hundreds of sailors. But now we’ve launched a new project to bring sailors together with professional coaches.

Here’s how it works:

• You sign up for the Elite Plan. As well as all the usual RTG benefits with the Basic and Pro Plans, you’ll get 10 Zoom sessions with a RTG-approved Coach, each session lasting 55 minutes.
• We ask you to fill out a short survey explaining what type of boat/board you’re racing, your sailing ambitions, your ideal goals and outcomes, and what particular areas of the campaign you want to improve your skills in.
• Once we’ve been through your survey responses, we’ll match you up with a coach who we believe will be a good fit for you and your goals, as well as your location and timezone.
• You and the Coach get on a 20-minute Exploratory Meeting via Zoom to check that you really are a good fit for each other.
• If the Exploratory Meeting goes well, then great! You’re on your way. It’s then up to you and your Coach to schedule in the 10 Zoom sessions on a shared calendar. An ideal target would be for completing all 10 sessions within 3 months, with the course of 10 sessions to be completed no later than 6 months after buying the Elite program.
• At the end of the 10 sessions we ask you to complete The Test, an RTG analysis tool to check that you and your Coach have made measurable progress in the areas of the campaign that you identified for improvement.

Our coaching capacity is limited, so we’re opening this up to only a few Road To Goldsters who want to work closely with an expert coach.

Terms & Conditions

• The 20 minute Exploratory Meeting is an opportunity for both coach and coachee to check they are a good fit for each other
• If the coachee decides after the 20 minute Exploratory Meeting that they would like not to proceed, the coachee can request a second Exploratory Meeting with another RTG coach or request a full refund.
• Refund policy: While we have our unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee on the Road To Gold program itself, there is no refund for any 1 to 1 coaching sessions once you've gone past the Exploratory Meeting and committed to the course of 10 sessions.
• Reschedule and cancellation policy: At least 48 hours notice must be given if rescheduling or cancellation of a session is requested, otherwise that session is forfeited from the package.
• Confidentiality and data protection: Everything discussed between the coach and the customer will remain confidential.
• The coaching process: Coaching sessions to last up to a maximum 55 minutes per session, accessed via Zoom or other online meeting room technology to be agreed between the two parties.
• Expectations – When goals are agreed between coach and coachee, it is up to the coachee to ensure they take action and do their part to achieve the desired outcome.
